Thursday night saw the Bowling Blazers head out to Park Lanes to take on Shawnee Mission West, Shawnee Mission Northwest and Lawrence.  The Varsity gentlemen just couldn’t get it going and ended up in 4th place.  Junior Jakkob Haney, bowling in his first varsity competition, shot a nice 226 and a team high 542 series.
The Varsity Ladies struggle to put together three strong games, but they came out in third place.  Senior Chelsie Rankin shot a personal best game of 191 and a team high series of 439.
The Junior Varsity ladies had a very strong night on the lanes, finishing in 2nd place overall.  Sophomore Kaleigh Webb shot a personal best game of 177 which lead her to 3rd place individually.
The Junior Varsity gentlemen came out strong and never let up.  The top three series of the night went to GEHS bowlers.  Senior Robert Pfeifer finished in 3rd place overall with a high game of 197 and a 498 series.  Sophomore Zach Reynolds finished in 2nd place with a 506 series and Junior Nathan Gregg finished first with a 526 series.  These scores lead the the Junior Varsity lads to a first place finish.
Next week, the team heads back to Lawrence on Tuesday and to Olathe Lanes East on Friday.
